The route I intend to follow! (to Burma border)
On Christmas Day 1941, Hong Kong island surrendered to the Japanese during WWII. My late grandad escaped and kept a diary whilst he was smuggled through China by guerillas and a one legged Chinese Admiral. This is my account of re-tracing his steps.
